GG’s Sweet & Sour Chicken Recipe
Grandma, B’s Great Grandmother, came into town last night. Yay! We love visits from Grandmama. She brought the recipe and the ingredients for Busy Day Sweet & Sour Chicken. She drove from Nashville, Ga which is about 3 hours away. With all of her stops the trip was about five hours. She loves to meander and she loves to shop. She just “mosey’s” over, not in a rush, and on what we call “Margie-time.” Not only did
she bring the ingredients for the recipe but she stopped at the Broad Street Market in Metter to pick up all the sides. So, we had fresh, homegrown sweet potatoes and tomatoes. We cooked all of it. Umm…with a nice flavor, it was delicious. And, it was quick and super easy.

It was nice to know that it was one less meal that I had to plan and prepare for. Plus, it introduced us to a new dish. You can see the details on my earlier post, here. [...]
