Casino Worker Takes Perks Too Far
I heard this on today’s Morning Edition on NPR. Yes, it is a true story. People amaze me!
Morning Edition, February 26, 2008 · A man who worked for an Iowa casino was awarded a free night’s hotel stay to mark a year’s employment. He sought unemployment benefits after he was fired after repeatedly calling downstairs and asking the hotel to send up a hooker.
A court has refused his request for unemployment.
