Why do you put the leafy stuff with the berry stuff? Aren’t their rules for this? Could one throw in a hot dog or some dill pickles?
Just wondering.

I just tried this recipe, in fact, I’m drinking it right now! It’s delicious. One tip though – make sure the banana is very ripe :)
And Savannah, you don’t even taste the spinach, but it acts as “the meat” of the recipe. Plus it’s chock full of nutrients

I used to only have fruit smoothie and vegie juices. A friend of mine had a green spinach-based smoothie and I tried it and it was delicious. The difference I found is that with the fruit smoothies you use yoghurt, but with the spinach smoothies you just use water. You can’t even taste the spinach like the other poster said.

I make a variation of this every morning. I use a banana, an orange, stawberries, blueberries, a handful of carrots, 2-3 handfuls of spinach, yogurt, milk, and grape juice.
It tastes great and gives you most of the nutrients you need to get through the day.
