Okay, I know it sounds ridiculous but I love the new CVS commercial – the one for caregivers. To see it click here. Every time I hear the commercial I wish for the music to play on and on. I finally decided I would find out who sings it so I could find it on itunes. Apparently, Kathy Fisher of Fisher the Band sings it. It is not available for download.
I discovered that Sarah Maclaughlin also sings it. She sang it in Charolette’s Web a few years ago, which I did not see. And, she sang it the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade that year. I must not have seen that either.
It is a beautiful song.
You can buy the album by clicking HERE.
Here’s Sarah’s rendition:
If you are interested, here are the lyrics:
The sky knows when its time to snow
You don’t need to teach a seed to grow
It’s just another ordinary miracle todayLife is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up and find a way
To give some of your ownIsn’t it remarkable’
Like every time a raindrop falls
It’s just another ordinary miracle todayBirds in winter have their fling
And always make it home by spring
It’s just another ordinary miracle today When you wake up everyday
Please don’t throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we are all a part
Of the ordinary miracleOrdinary miracle
Do you want to see a miracle’Its seems so exceptional
Things just work out after all
It’s just another ordinary miracle todayThe sun comes up and shines so bright
It disappears again at night
It’s just another ordinary miracle todayI found Meadow Rabbit’s is also blogging about Ordinary Miracle Day. I guess she listens to the song as she spins.
